At Coila we place a high priority on the Bible. Our songs and prayers are sourced and shaped by scripture. Our pastor gives a message that is gospel-centered and based on scripture. Our children are also given an age-appropriate, brief message from the text that is read during the service.
Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of all scripture, and all scripture points us to the gospel, that is the good news of who Jesus is and what he has done.
Worship is the response of that we are to all that God is. Our corporate worship is an extension of our life lived out in worship 24-7. Worship isn’t just singing - and singing is only one way we worship. Our worship music focuses on the gospel and employs songs from classic hymns to modern songs of praise.
What you will find on Sunday mornings is a group of authentic Christ-followers who make worship a priority. Our service is usually around 90 minutes. Neither highly liturgical nor overly emotive, our corporate worship is intentionally Christ-centered and God-exalting. We focus our attention on the person and work of Jesus Christ and the majesty of the one true God in every aspect of our worship.
